A Lilly for Target Moment – Upstream

Hey guys! Hope you are all having a fantastic week. As the first official week off of school, I am totally taking advantage of all the free time I have now for some serious relaxation. Last night, my mom, sister, and I went to the Ed Sheeran concert and WOW. It was easily the best concert I’ve ever been to. He is mad talented and absolutely killer live. I recommend the show if he’s coming to your area!

Over the next couple of blog posts I am going to be showing you guys what I purchased from Lilly for Target! This collection was mega hyped, but the execution on Target’s side was pretty poor. I was lucky to get everything that I had my eye on from online, but most didn’t have a chance to grab anything. My sister and I stayed up until 2 a.m. for the launch, and we probably wouldn’t have gotten anything had I not been searching #lillyfortarget on Twitter. I just happened to see that people were posting links to the mobile website with live products, so we snatched what we wanted without any bumps.

I styled a few different outfits for each piece that I got, and up first are the Challis shorts in Upstream!

These shorts are incredibly soft and the fish pattern is adorable. I also love the pom-pom detailing at the hemline!

My tank top is from H&M (If you are looking for great basics, check out H&M. Not only are they incredibly soft, but they’re always on sale for 2 for $10!) and my bralette is from Aerie.

I also picked up the My Fans headscarf and the Starfish sandals. The scarf is super cute, but it’s a little difficult to tie into a headband because it’s pretty big. It would look cute tied around a purse in the summer, as a scarf, or even Audrey Hepburn style. I can already tell the starfish sandals are going to be a summer staple in my wardrobe this season. The gold makes them match with everything and I love anything with an ocean feel.

Thanks for reading!

xoxo Rebekah
