A Beauty Review Moment – Sleek Vintage Romance iDivine Palette and Rose Gold Blush

011

Hello lovelies! I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. I just got of a particularly long shift at work, so I’m trying to soak up what little weekend there is left.

Tonight I have a review of the Sleek Vintage Romance iDivine Palette and Blush in Rose Gold!

Sleek isΒ a relatively affordable makeup brand from the U.K., but if you are in the U.S. you can easily get your hands on it from their website or Amazon.

I personally ordered these from Amazon as they were a bit cheaper with free shipping. Considering these did ship from England, it took about two weeks to get here.

But I am SO happy I purchased these items! I’ve been hearing everyone rave about the Sleek iDivine palettes over the last few years. I paid around $9 for this one and let me tell you, these are just as impressive as everyone says. Vintage Romance has some gorgeous cool-toned shades, which is great because I don’t have too many of those within my collection. There are some lovely metallic gold shades, a handful of plums and burgundies in different finishes, and a few blues/purples. The only true matte shade is the warm brown in the top corner but it blends beautifully.

These shadows also last throughout the day like a champion. I always use the NARS Smudgeproof Primer with a MAC paintpot as bases, but even my Naked palette tends to crease once I hit 10 hours of wear. This stuff doesn’t budge until you take it off.

I also like this palette because the colors are wearable even though they are colorful. I tend to wear strictly neutral shadows, and these let me play around with some actual color without feeling like a clown.

The blush in Rose Gold is absolutely gorgeous! This color is almost an exact dupe for NARS’ most famous peachy/gold shade.

There’s also a ton of product in these blushes. The package reads 8 grams, and I paid less than $5. I don’t think I will ever finish this color because the amount of product is so much. The average MAC blush has about 6.5 grams, for comparison.

The shade is absolutely beautiful for daytime. The gold shimmer really gives the cheeks the most amazing glow. It’s stunning when the sunlight catches it. I also appreciate the fact that this blush is more sheer. You can’t overdo it with this product; this is especially good for anyone who has a heavier hand when it come to applying blush.

If you are deciding to order this blush, check your stash to make sure you don’t have a dupe of it already. While this shade is gorgeous, there are approximately 100 types of peachy/gold blushes on the market right now. Practically every brand has them.

That being said, I totally recommend both of these items for the price. I will definitely be dipping my toes into the Sleek hype again in the future because I am in love. I really want the lipstick in Bare All, which is the lipstick that Perrie Edwards uses most often.

PS Speaking of Perrie Edwards, if you haven’t heard Little Mix’s new album you need to. I’m a little obsessed with this song at the moment:

Thanks for reading everyone! I have an embarrassingly large Sephora haul coming up from the VIB sale as well as a new fashion post that will be a bit of an experiment.

xoxo Rebekah
