Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying this crazy week before Christmas. One of my favorite (albeit cheesy) Christmas activities is keeping up with the Garfield 12 Days of Christmas advent calendar. If you loved Garfield when you were younger like I did, you will get a kick out of this.
Today I am back with an outfit post featuring a couple of items from Marley Lilly.
This is the first order I’ve ever made with the company, and I picked everything out over Black Friday when they were having some pretty good deals and freebies. My order took a little while to ship, which I expected because everything is monogrammed to order, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was. I only had one issue with a necklace breaking, but their customer service is extremely helpful and they ordered a new one for me without any questions asked.
This amazing blanket scarf was free with purchase and holy cow, this is amazing. They don’t lie when they call it a blanket scarf; I should’ve taken a picture for scale, but it’s actually the size of a blanket. It’s a little awkward to wear because of its size, but it’s going to be so warm and cozy when the weather starts to cool down.
This monogram clutch bag is probably my favorite thing that I ordered. It’s much larger than I expected it to be, which is awesome, because clutch bags tend to be on the smaller size. It’s a nice faux leather and the tassel detail is so cute. You can pick any color combination you want for the bag, but I really adore the gold polka dots with the tan. It’s neutral and will go with any outfit, but it’s still fun and interesting. The only thing I don’t like is that there are no pockets or zippered areas inside of the bag, so all of your belongings just float around.
I finished the look off with an easy black dress from Express (similar), black tights, and classic riding boots.
Regardless, I will definitely order from Marley Lilly again in the future. I’ve got my eye on a monogram filigree necklace.
