Hi everyone! It’s been a hot minute since my last post, so I hope you are all doing well.
Today, I am back with a review of a new subscription box. This is a limited edition The Voice themed box. I snagged this for just $17, and it’s stuffed with $150 worth of goodies. Definitely one of the best steals I’ve ever gotten. Check it out here, if you are interested!
The first item is the LAQA & Co. Cheeky Lip Pencil in Mixtape. It’s a lipstick/blush hybrid in a vibrant red. If you are going to use this on your cheeks, be cautious because it’s incredibly pigmented. It seems moisturizing too, which is nice.
The next item in the box is the Ban.do Hot Stuff Thermal Mug. How adorable is this? I’ve been in need of a new thermal tumbler, and this will be perfect for my early mornings at school.
These BaubleBar Ear Jackets are so cool. I love how edgy and versatile they are. Don’t feel like wearing the little spikes that dangle behind your ear? Pop them off and wear them as triangle studs instead! I’ve never had BaubleBar jewelry before, but I’ve always heard how well-made their line is. It certainly lives up to the test.
And THESE are the reason I bought the box. I’ve wanted a pair of Quay sunglasses for forever now. But they’re $50 and, to be honest, it isn’t sunny enough here to warrant that kind of purchase. But for $17? That’s a no brainer. These are the Breath of Life sunglasses. I love that these are an exaggerated cat eye. I can’t wait for summertime to bust these out.
Next we have a couple of Julep products. Julep is another company I’ve read a ton about but never pulled the trigger on a purchase. The first product is a nail polish in Myriam. It’s a classic cream red and something I will definitely get use out of. I’m excited to try out the formula; hopefully it’s long-lasting.
The next Julep product is pretty unconventional. It’s a Konjac Sponge exfoliator enriched with charcoal. Charcoal is great for problematic or acne-prone skin. I’ve never seen anything like this before so it’ll be interesting to try out. I’ll let you know what I think.
Last, there’s a notebook from Poppin. I hoard stationary so this is right up my alley. It’s a soft, leather-like notebook which looks much more expensive than it probably is. It’s thinner, too, so it’s a good size to throw in your handbag.
Have you grabbed one of these boxes from The Voice? It’s a great deal, especially if you’ve had your eye on those glasses.
Thanks for reading!
