A Moment’s Notice – Picks from the Summer 2016 Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale

Hi everyone!

It’s that crazy day of year again: the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale.

If you love Lilly, this is a day to take advantage of because prices are slashed to upwards of 60% off – a rarity for the brand. However, low prices = big crowds. Once again the virtual line was in use, and while it’s mildly annoying, it does keep the website from crashing so I guess it’s okay. I still ended up getting everything I wanted.

I went a little crazy and ended up getting six dresses. I was on the hunt this time around for some basics that I could wear all throughout fall and winter and a graduation dress. That last part I can’t even believe I wrote. I’m already a senior in college – where the heck did time go?

Anyways, I shopped through Lilly’s main website, 6pm.com, and the Pink Door Memphis website. If you are looking for more deals, go to Saks or Amazon. Saks’ prices are right on with 6pm.

I’m so in love with everything I got! Here’s the haul:

lilly after party sale picks

Marlowe Dress in Bay Blue Coconut Stripe // I tried on a dress nearly identical to this from the new arrivals last week while I was on vacation in Orlando. I *almost* paid $98 for it, but I’m so glad I didn’t, because I snagged it for under $40. If you shop through 6pm, make sure you use the coupon code ‘bestpicks’ for 10% off! I nearly missed it. 6pm has free shipping too! I can’t wait to wear this with boots and vests during the fall.

Marina Dress in True Navy // Isn’t this the perfect fall staple dress? I can see this with riding boots, tights and a cardigan perfectly. I love how simple it is. I have so many printed Lilly dresses that I wanted a few more understated ones this time around. And how gorgeous is that detailing around the neckline? So pretty. I got this for under $40!

Marlowe Dress in Koala of the Wild // Another Marlowe dress. These are honestly some of my favorites that Lilly does because they’re casual yet can be dressed up. And so comfortable! I grabbed this one for $39. I just adored the pattern.

Cove Dress in Love Birds // I was OBSESSED with this pattern when it came out. I think it might be my all-time favorite that Lilly has done. The fit-and-flare shape seemed perfect for a go-to dress that can be worn for presentations or parties. Love! I got it for $59.

Aralyn Shift in Bay Blue Shell Eyelet // Okay and then I had two splurges. This dress has been in the back of my mind since I saw it come out at the beginning of summer, but there was no way I was about to spend $300 on it. I knew I’d be able to grab it during the sale, and I did so for only $74. This is going to be perfect for beach vacations, but I can also probably get away with wearing it to class with a denim jacket and some sandals.

Sienna Dress in Resort White Sea Life Embroidery // And this is the dress I picked out for my graduation. I have a little tradition where I begin and end each semester by wearing Lilly because it’s my favorite and makes me feel the most confident in myself. Purchasing a Lilly graduation dress wasn’t even a question, but I like how this is so understated and simple. I didn’t wear a solid white dress for my high school graduation, so I thought I’d go more traditional here. I love love love the gold neckline, and the embroidery at the hem of the dress is just a bonus. I can’t wait to get this in the mail!

I hope you all had a successful Lilly sale! Let me know what you got 🙂

Thanks for reading!

xoxo Rebekah
