How fabulous is this dress from H&M? We had a little staff deal going on earlier this month that allowed us to get an outfit for half off, so I grabbed this dress and a few other pieces that you will be seeing later throughout these weeks.
First of all, I love the fit. It’s a shift, but you guys, it’s so comfortable. I feel like I could run a marathon in this dress, not that I would ever want to do that. It’s a little too flowy for me, though, so I paired it with this leather belt that I’ve had for too many years.
I’m kind of digging the 1970s vibe that this dress gives off. The ruffled sleeves and neckline work, though, because the pattern is slightly more subdued. I’m a sucker for a good floral, no matter the season. And when you pair it with a few modern accessories, voila! You’ve got a chic nod to the days of old. Love.
My ring that I’m wearing in this outfit is actually the first ring I’ve gotten in a while. When it comes to jewelry, I love my necklaces and earrings. Bracelets and rings just tend to get in my way because I’m always writing and on the computer throughout my day. But my dad actually got this beautiful daisy ring for me when we were in Georgetown back in July as a little souvenir of our trip. I’ve been wearing it like crazy, and it actually doesn’t bother me too much. I love the rose gold, and the crystals are gorgeous in the light.
These flats are actually older ones from Topshop that I picked up when I was in Paris earlier this year. They’re so popular now though, you can pretty much find similar styles anywhere. Same with this saddlebag! I grabbed it from Marshall’s, and I can’t wait to bust it out as fall creeps closer and closer.
Thanks for reading everyone!
